Poof!

I went on a fangirl adventure a few weeks back. It is actually my first time being a fangirl and I never thought I would be one. I never thought I’d be much engrossed onto a group of entertainers. So anyway, it was a fun and learning experience… I got to know my fangirl friends a lot more, met new people, learned how to stalk (Haha!), had late meals or skipped them altogether just to get a glimpse of my idol, spent more time at the hotel lobby than in the hotel room, etc. Everything was surreal afterwards and then I suddenly realized it was all over… poof! All that’s left were memories and traces that everything really happened.

Poof!

Yum!

Whatever the weather is… sunny or rainy, hot or cold… I’d love one of these…

McDonald's Green Apple Float & Apple Pie

Yum-O! I’m so craving for these right now… especially for the apple pie. Hmmm… I might ask my sister we drop by McDonald’s later after the kids’ doctor checkup. Haha!

Gift Certificates Make Great Gifts

Choosing a gift for someone can be stressful. You want to find the perfect gift — something that the person will love and use and cherish. And most of all, you don’t want to waste your money. If you buy something that the recipient doesn’t like, most likely the money was a waste. One simple solution to this age-old dilemma is getting a gift card or gift certificate.

There are many different types of gift cards out there and you can get them for just about any store or restaurant that exists. You can even get them for online stores. Gift cards are easy to use. They are the size of credit cards, so they can be kept in a wallet until the recipient is ready to use them.

But what if you don’t know what store or restaurant the gift receiver shops and eats at? A great solution is an American Express gift card. They can be used anywhere where American Express is accepted and works very much like a credit card, but with a limited balance. What’s great about gift cards from American Express is you can personalize them. If you order these gift cards online, you can have the recipient’s name embossed right onto the front of the card. You can also include a personalized message of who the card is for, who it’s from, and a short message (up to 55 characters). The message could say, “Happy 16th birthday!” or “Congratulations on graduating high school!”

You might also find deals on American Express gift cards online that may include deals such as free shipping by using a coupon code. Then the personalized gift card can be shipped directly to the recipient. It’s an easy way to send a gift and to let the recipient know you’re thinking of him or her, and it can all be done online.

Different Types of Above Ground Pools

If you’re in the market to buy an above ground pool, it’s helpful to know what the different types are so you can make the best decision on what type of pool to buy. There are two types of above ground pools: soft sided and hard sided.

Soft Sided Above Ground Pools

This type of above ground pool has become very popular in the last 10 years. They come in a variety of depths, and you can get them in a round shape or a rectangular shape. Soft sided pools are easy to set up (and can typically be done within an hour) and are made to be very durable — using material that is similar to the material used to create bullet-proof vests. Because this material is thick and resilient, it is puncture resistant and can last a long time. Another convenient aspect of soft sided pools is they can be placed on many different surfaces including grass, concrete, sand, and dirt, so no matter where you plan to place your pool, a soft sided pool should work.

Hard Sided Above Ground Pools

Hard sided pools typically only come in a round shape or an oval shape. Just like with the soft sided pools, they come in different depths, which is helpful if you have little kids and do not want the pool to be too deep. The pool sides are created with sheet metal with a vinyl liner on the inside. These types of pools are typically cheaper than soft sided pools, but they take more time to assemble, and you have to prepare the ground where the pool will be set up.

All above ground pools do require a filter and an electric pump. These help by circulating the water. You’ll also want a ladder, which is needed when getting in and out of the pool.

Bailey

I don’t think I’ve shared my baby’s photo here. So, here he is… my dear baby Bailey! :D

Baby Bailey

Baby Bailey

I love, love, love him to bits! He’s a mix breed of Dachshund and Beagle and he’s really adorable. He was born with a calcium deficiency so, he’s taking calcium supplements right now, for one whole year. But his bones are really strong now, I can tell. He’s turning 10 months old on the 18th. That’s my mom’s birthday too.
