My Fisheye No. 2 White Knight Edition and my Lomography Ringflash are here! Yay!

Got them on February 4. My aunt and uncle brought it from the US. I ordered them at Amazon and had them delivered to my aunt’s house. I was supposed to buy it here in the Phil but it’s not available, even for ordering. Then I also tried the Lomography site but they only had the black one and they also didn’t have the ringflash. Finally, I tried Amazon and guess what! Both were on sale!!! At least 20% off each. I really hate paying using cc but I had to just to grab the great deal.

And now just a few pics to boast… :)

Now, I can’t wait to go to the beach this weekend to take some snaps. I’m also bringing my Holga so I can try it with the ringflash. I also loaded it with 2 35mm films. You’ll find out what I mean when it becomes successful. Also, I will be bringing the Oktomat too. The first the time I used it wasn’t successful, I didn’t realize I had to load it with an ASA 400 film. I just wasted 1 roll of slide film. But it’s okay… better luck next time. And I’m making sure of it! Haha!

Now, to figure out how to finish 3 rolls of film in the same sceneries in 5 days…

Very soon…

My cousin and my uncle went gaga over replica watches when they went on vacation here in the Philippines a couple of years ago, Rolex specifically. My uncle bought one for himself and my cousin bought two, one for her and one for her boyfriend. I’m not sure if the watches are still working but I’m pretty sure those are going to break easily. Next time they come here I’m going to suggest they buy from PerfectWatches.net.

They have replica rolex watches in any style you can think of. They also carry replicas of other famous brands. What’s nice is that their watches have the same high standards as the original so you don’t have to worry about it breaking down easily and feel like your money went to waste. They guarantee the best services with the best replica watches online. Go check them out!

In 1845, one of the great horologist of all time, by name Adolph Lange came up with a very special watch model known as the Sohne model of watch. He started this landmark project by establishing a watch company in the city of Saxony in Germany; where the original models are currently produced. But, the replica models are produced in the Swiss nation, where quality replica watches, such as A.Lange & Sohne replica, Breitling replica, Omega replica have continued to emerge. These replica models were made after the same technology and the features that are seen in the original models. They were manufactured as suitable option to ameliorate the hiking price of the original models. With this intention, they were made to be within the reach of the poor and the have-nots. At the same time, the quality for which the original models are known was not compromised in them. Thus, they are made with such robust technology as to offer their users the rare opportunity of enjoying a luxurious watch at a reasonable cost.

In the interior view of the watch lies the official insignia of the company, which is covered with a scratch proof glass made of the sapphire crystal element. This splendid outlook bestows the timepieces with such an enticing aesthetic beauty. Some of it models also has the inbuilt date system. A look at the sides shows the principal and the two additional dials. This particular feature is of an indispensable importance in steering the watches to accurate and optimum service.

Again, the mechanism is supported with the Japanese movement that gives it a robust frame and superb working functions. The automatic nature of the watches is guaranteed by the self-winding mechanism that put them to it. They are also powered with high water resistant and are very reliable.

If you might have noticed, I moved some photography-related posts from my other blog to here. And I changed the look of this blog, too. Well, I can’t keep up with my other blogs so I just let one expire and decided to just move it here. I think it is perfect anyway since food, travel and photography go together, right? Anyway, here are some updates…

I don’t travel much these because I’ve been sickly this year. Also, I really can’t afford to go places since I’m still paying some bills and want to some stuff first. But, I’m really hoping that next year is the year. Not really bonggang travel, just around the country maybe. But thinking about itnow makes me ralize I still need more stuff to add to my “to buy” list. Hmmm. Perhaps I should give it more thought.

With regards to cooking,  I can now start baking! Yay! Our oven finally got repaired! In fact, today my mom already baked her famous banana cake. They’re actually loaves but we’ve been calling them cakes as long as I can remember. Just imagine this: I don’t eat any other banana cake except that. :D Anyway, my nephew and I are planning already what to cook and bake the next few weeks. So, I’ll be busy posting photos and recipes soon, I hope. :)

And now about photography. I’m planning to buy the Fisheye No. 2 Chrome Edition and the Lomography Ringflash next. I’ll have it shipped to my aunt in the US though (for cheaper shipping cost) so I won’t have it until February next year. But it’s okay, I can wait. Then after that, I’m thinking of buying a digital point-and-shoot camera first while I’m saving up for a DSLR. I know, I know… digital? Well, I love lomo but I have to admit that it’s also practical to have a digital one. Take this for example, I took 4 films to the lab the other day for developing and scanning. Guess what… one set came up blank (my nephew’s),  the other three were really disappointing and two of them were slide films. Boo-hoo! Well, that is how it is.

So there you go… and I still haven’t posted about my Lobo trip. I’ll try to remember the details but no photos. :(
